Definitely stick with the factory color is you want it to be faster and less expensive. You won't have to have the engine/door jams/etc resprayed.

my mustang has been in my family since it was new and I have never regreted tellin my folks that dfg was the best color. still my opinion now that I bought the car and it will never change. As they said it would save you time/money as the door jams and all the little stuff could be blended.

A re spray will always be the cheapest and easiest to have done, providing you don't have a mystic or any thing lol. I've got 2 rio red stangs and i love the color on every other stang I see but I'm not happy with mine lol. I'm going to paint one opal night gray. Haven't desided on the other yet.

Dark Highland Green is a cool color (from the bullitt mustangs). wouldn't be too terribly different, wouldn't make the jams and engine bay scream repaint if you didn't bother with them.

Keep deep forest green, its one of the best colors that ever came out for the sn95. There is nothing like it when its freshly repainted and you can see the blue pearl metallic flake in sun. It's hard to explain but its so beautiful.

Keep it DFG, it's a beautiful colour when looked after. The only Mustang I would paint an aftermarket colour would be a black one. Having black door jams and engine bay wouldn't be as bad as having bright a** yellow ones like my car does. I was thinking of getting my car repainted Sonic or Azure Blue, but decided against it as the yellow would show through BAD on door jams and the like.
