are you removing it to install a new one? well it is not easy, the headliner is stapled to the front where the top folds down, "where your latches are", then the headliner is screwed into 3 seperate bars and also on the sides by the rear windows and back in the trunk area, once you get that far you will wish you took it to a shop!!!
i just changed my wifes 95 gt over thanksgiving, it took 3 days and alot of beer but it came out nice, oh yeah get two buddies and alot of staples.
