I have been looking for one for my car because mine is weathered and I need to pic up a new one. I've found one with a vinyl window in it. It's one whole piece has anyone used these or seen one on a mustang.

Never buy vinyl. It looks like crap. Go to an autobody shop, with labor it will cost around $720

if you can put it on yourself why are you not reusing your stock rear glass?

Because there's no proper way to seal the glass to the top without a special machine. The different types of goo glue only last for a short amount of time. The top is a two piece design so if that's in good condition, you could just reuse it. But chances are, that's one of the places it's leaking from.

Ebay tops are the same tops that the shops are going to use and they are about $250.

well you could take just the glass itself to a top shop and have them replace the strip of fabric....
