cruise control not comming on??

i noticed the other day when i tried to set cruise control it wouldnt engage. it was working a few weeks ago. what are some things i can trouble shoot(fuses,relays switch) you know the small cheap things

1st thing to check is to make sure the cable to the throttle body is connected! 2nd thing would be the steering wheel switch, they just tend to go bad....
