You can put resistors in parallel with the taillight bulbs (brake circuit not the running filament circuit) , something like 20 ohm, 10 watt (per lamp assembly not per bulb) and be aware they will get hot enough to melt plastic when you're at a stoplight with your foot on the brake. Easier and cheaper to just put incandescent bulbs back in, K.I.S.S.

I’m adopting one of my favorites: the K.I.S.S. method then! Will stop and pick up tail light, indicator, trunk, and license plate incandescent bulbs after work today ++
Fingers crossed this solves the issue.

What # bulb and how many of each will I need for tail light housing; trunk; indicators and license plate?

Fantastic, thanks! I replaced all the LED’s out for regular OE bulbs and the cruise control is working fine again.

THANKS A TON!!! I never would have guessed LED bulbs.
It’s strange how it happened all of a sudden but at least you found the issue fairly easily.
