I'm looking at HID fogs and headlights, and DDM has them cheap, REAL cheap, $30, really? I see that a lot of the guys on the forum have DDM HID's, are they quality kits? $30 just seems reeeeaallly cheap! HIDGUY.net has them for $100 on sale right now.

Is this the right kit on DDM's site? If not, can someone please post up the right link to the headlights and fogs?

Those are it on the link, I have both headlights and fogs except I got the slim ballasts since the raptors are quite big. Quality wise, so far so good

I think we have plenty of space up under the mounting areas so I am not sure I would pay the difference for it myself. Be sure to mount it as far away from the airbag module as possible to avoid interferance.

i have DDm in my fogs and VVME in my headlights. I love them both. We don't need slim ballasts we have plenty of room around there to make them fit.

do you need to buy the harness they sell as well?
You get the entire kit. I dont know what some of the additional things are that you can add. I'm still not seeing the slim ballast kits though. Handz, where are ya!?

from what I understand, both. The RF that the high-voltage ballast sends off will interfere with the abs/airbag module. I would recomend trying it there with a temp piece of scotch tape and then start the car to see if any warning lights go on. IF they do then move it and try again.

Maybe this will help. The cover hides the ballasts. Then when you look into the grill next to the pony you only see just a little of them maybe 1" worth on either side.

Thats all I was wanting to know, I was just iffy for the $30 they cost! thats cheap! I'm going to check warranty on my existing one, I think a ballast is what quit working, the bulb is fine.
