Decided to put the 2000 Cobra Rs back on

Been running the Black FR500s for about 3 years now and decided it was time to switch back.
I bought a set of Nitto NT555s from Discount Tire a couple of weeks ago and took the tires & rims down to get mounted this morning. I got everything swapped out, cleaned it up a bit and took a little spin around the block to make sure the tires & rims were seated properly.
Since I was in a changing mood, I decided to take off my black Bullit fuel door and put the stocker back on. I think it flows better with the Cobra Rs. I really like this look better and I was once again reminded why I bought them in the first place 8 years ago.

I've always liked the y2k's. kinda reminds me of my driveway, but I've only got one jeep. Like the look of the black jeep too.

if you get a chrome pony and polish the little wings on your spoiler, I think it would tie everything together nicely.

I have my original chrome pony stashed away. I bought one from ebay & painted it black just for something different. The wing ends aren't aluminum. To my surprise, when I bought the wing, the ends are plexiglass.

oh, that is surprising. Maybe you can buy aluminum ones...? I swear I've seen them polished before.

Yep, aluminum ones are available. I have a buddy that opted for them on his '03 GT. I could pop mine off and use them as a template and have some stainless ones fabbed.

Yep. I'll be putting an ad together this afternoon. They are 18"x9" with 265/35/18s up front and 18"x10" deep dish with 275/35/18s out back. I'll post it up when I put it together. Shipping gets expensive.
