I'm looking into getting a few good brushes for detailing. I want something i can use around emblems and such that wont scratch up paint and also some for cleaning out under the trunk(where everything drains and gets gunked up). Online shops seem to think they are made of gold, what do you suggest?

I got a set of mothers detailing brushes from amazon.com for like $4 or something, was a really cheap filler so I could get free shipping on ordering something else.

I LOVE my envy valet detailing brushes. They are amazing and they have no metal so they wont scratch.

I got mine off ebay.... thats where most people get them. search "Envy Vallet Brushes" on ebay and enjoy!!

For around emblems and in cracks I use foam paint brushes, the plain plastic handle ones come in a multi pack from home depot for only a buck or two, spray them with quick detailer and they work great

So cheap I throw them away when done
