Difference in Worm Gear/Drive Gear?

Hey, anybody know what does what?!

I need to get my Odometer AND Trip Odometer working now that the weather is getting better and also I'm trying to sell it, of course everyone makes sure this stuff actually works with 110K+ Miles lol.


Also I know how to fix the issue from the "How-To" from this forum, VERY easy but as I was making the order I noticed two gears, Drive and Worm, the Drive looks like the one I need for the Odometer but does that ONE gear fix both the trip and the normal Odometer?

The worm gear presses on to the electric motor. As the motor turns the worm gear turns the other gear that turns the numerical dials. Your odometer and trip meter are connected so fixing one will fix the other.
