Disapointed about my car

I ran 14.8 best at the track last sunday
I was expecting faster,
I have 3,73 gears , pulleys ,mufflers delete and jlt cai. was i expecting too much with 14,3 ?

I had a 2,180 60ft tho

you dont really have any mods to the car, you were expecting alot out of that rig, post up the entire slip and we can help more

your et will be better if you can get that 60ft to a 2.0 or a touch lower do not do a burn out with street tires, drive around the water box and just let it go around 3k you sould be ok. it takes time, dont worry about your r/t your not racing anyone but the clock

Where are you from? What is the track elevation as you will see lower times in the higher elevation, but it's not that far off with the minimal mods you have?

swap a 4.6 in it man, it will run like hell!

LOL...I had too.

Get some sticky ass tires and get that 60 foot down to 1.9-2.0 and you should be looking at low 13s

Hey us slow 5.0's have more cars to run against! You know Accords & Altimas etc...I beat an old stock 56 VW bug once!

Im sure the muffler delete didnt help.. I mean doesnt that tend to rob hp..you do lose about 20 pounds I think but still.

Yeah the track was in the mountains. I don't know how high the track is tho.

Yeah im thinking that too, but the car came like that so i dont know how it was before and after

Save up a little and get a nice loud catback, like magnaflow or bassani, should put some ponies back into it...
