The problem is similar to what the 94-95 cars have... that it was a 2 yr car and then we all know what happened in 03.
If you really want to sell and that is what you think you want for it, you better be ready to sit on it a while until someone who is looking for THAT car comes along. Otherwise you are gonna keep dropping the price until you are basically giving it it away (in your opinion) and then you'll be pissed that you did later on.

I don't think comparing the 99-01 and the 03-04s to the 94-95 and 96-98 is fair. Because let's be honest, the 94-95 GTs are much more desirable.

Try to sell a CLEAN 94-95 lately? hahha
Go on Corral, and take a look at the ones there. They sit for LONG periods of time always. I have had my white one in my sig since 98 and I know even as clean as it is (it has quite a few miles, but also a low mileage stroker motor) I wouldnt get more than 6k for it. And then 3 or 4 yrs ago I bought my 95 Cobra w/ less than 100k miles for nearly nothing.
I have been calling these cars good bargains for a long time because so many of them were stock, had 5.0s and were clean.
Not sure where you are but here in So cal, but very few people choose a 94-95 car... and if they do its only because they gave up on finding a cheap clean fox but still wanted a 5 liter.

The later cobras are far more desirable than our cars are overall... Maybe not to us who own them, but to most other people they want the 4v cars.

yeah i know it is a bad time of year but its not that i really want to its more like needing to.

here are some examples of what cars are going for around here

Like someone said before, just becasue people are asking that price doesnt mean they are actually "going" for that kind of money. Again, very bad season to sell a car. I would wait till spring and list it for 9k OBO but I'm sure you will only get 7.5-8k for the car. Mustangs still have that stigma about high mileage. I have 170k miles on my car and I bet I wont get a cent over 2.5k for it when I sell mine.

I was just joking around honestly. Everyone here wants a Fox but it's because most people around here don't realize the 5.0 exists in the 94-95s.
