dome light not working.

In my 02 GT, the dome light comes on when I use my remote to unlock the car and also when the doors are open like pretty much any vehicle ever. However, this evening when I went out to my car, I noticed that it did not come on. I changed the bulb out to no avail. I also had the same issue in my 97 V6. The light won't come on if I turn the headlight knob all the way to the left either. However, the two side lights(courtesy lights, I think?) do come on when I flip their respective switches.

So... whazzupwidat?

You have a coupe right? It could be a couple different things but try checking your fuses. Is there anything else that's not working?

Yeah, it's a coupe. I'm gonna check the fuses tomorrow. It's kind of odd though, that light is the only thing not working.

That is weird. Fluke wiring problem...??

I thought that might be the deal when I just had the 97 coupe, but it kinda freaked me out when it happened on the 02. Whatever it was, it fixed itself.

lol..one of my bulbs (pass. side) on my rearview dome light comes loose sometimes.

Check the fuses but i would check the wiring to because when i put in my new headliner a while back my dome light started doing the same thing and it turned out that it was shorting out. The wire runs up the passenger Apillar mine was shorting out off the metal frame.
