Door doesn't like to shut very well

My driver's side door is acting a little weird when it comes to how it shuts. You know how you can just lightly shut the door, and it won't quite shut all the way? But if you just pull on it, it still won't open unless you lift the door handle. All the cars will do this. But unless I almost slam the door, it never wants to shut all the way.

Weird thing is, I had it fixed for about 1 day. I sprayed WD-40 on the mechanism in the door but I guess the fix didn't hold. Anyone know what exactly causes this, and what the typical fix is?

I doubt it.
Our sn's are getting older and the doors have been opened countless times. the pins and bushings just wear out. and the door starts to sag, then the pin and the latch don't line up perfectly anymore.
Open the door just barely, then get a firm grip on the door and lift. You'll probably get about an inch of slop. it's more noticeable when the door is almost closed than wide open.
