Okay guys need some help here. The Silver panel on my door has fallen off and the clips are done for. Here is a shi**y cell phone pic of the clip. And a pic of the door panel so you know what Im talking about. They are glued to the Silver part and what seems to be plastic welded to the door panel. I need to know where to get these. I have searched high and low and can not find anything about them anywhere. Help here is GREATLY appreciated!!

never seen them sold as they were really just a one-time use kinda thang. I would just go to a local hobby store and pick up some CA glue and put it back together.

Just found a thread on stangnet where a guy epoxied carriage bolts to the panel and put lock nuts on the other side. Think I'm going to try that route.

The only thing that touches the door panel is the outter ring of it. Not enough to glue it down and have it hold.

your acting like its a structural support of some type? Those pieces were just melted into place and you can take a hot soldering iron and melt as many back together as you can and the rest will be find with glue. You do not needmuch area to hold with CA, use the kicker-spray to make bond nearly instantly and you do not have to hold it in place either.

Are you talking about gluing the clips? If so that's not possible at all because 4 of the 6 are destroyed by the previous owners attempt at saving them. The one in the picture is the best one I have in hopes someone knew what they were and knew where to get them.

I melted as many of the clips back as I could then used the glue in the surrounding area. It doesn't take much surface area for that shtuff to work as long as you clean it before applying. I have glued myself to enough things with that crap to know it doesn't take but a small drop to make things interesting....

These were a one-time-use kind of clip on a piece that wasn't ever supposed to be removed. I think finding teh stock replacement could be difficult but vatozone does have that rack of plastic clips you can try...

the only ones I ever paid attention too were the one in my truck when I recovered it. Those look to be the same where they were put through the holes and then melted/bonded to the larger panel? Like I said a one-time-use item. You can try just putting the regular clips in them that autozone sells but I still think you would be better off with either CA or plastic weld.

Id like to keep them where they can be removed again in the future if something happens to them or if they need redyed. Also, the way the previous owner mangled the clips, there is no way to reuse them. I could MAYBE reuse two but thats not enough. I had someone else tell me to check the HELP section that they might have them. If I cant find them then Im going to try the Carriage Bolts and Epoxy. That way I can take them off if need be.
