I have a 2000 mustang gt with the tan or light gray interior plastics and I would like to know if theres a website or somethin other than ford that might carry all black plastics, like I need everything from dash to door panels to the back quarters and everything thats plastic i want black. If anyone knows of such a website please let me know, I know that alot of the websites carry them for the fox bodys but none so far are for the new edge. If you know I would really appreciate it. thanx

Most places will tell you to dye your existing parts. Late Model Restoration sells all the stuff to do it, and I have seen great results. If you are hard pressed for original black panels, you may have to find some from an online salvage yard like MPS or find people either selling panels individually or parting a car out. Black pieces are hard to find sometimes.

I recently dyed my airbag and the collar behind the airbag black to match the FR500 steering wheel and upper section of the dash. I was skeptical but was very impressed with the end result. It did take several coats to get it nice and even but whatever.... it was a lot cheaper than buying replacement parts. And, many of the plastic interior parts are only available in gray these days and have "NOTE: paint to match" ..... so idf your parts are in good shape give the dye a try.

I havee 99% of a charcoal gray intirior out of a 2003 Mach1. The parts I know I don't have are the seats, shifter bezel, carpet, door release handles, air bag covers and headliner.

I have all the plastic back pieces, steering wheel, door panels, dash board, door sill plates, package tray, and center console. I( am sure there are more parts laying around though.

If you are interested shoot me a P.M. I am located in Pa.

Did they even offer True Black interiors on 99-04? I thought the Dark Charcoal like in the Machs were as dark as it got.

Either Dye yours or buy the Dark Charcoal.

I just picked up a couple of cans of the 94-98 black interior dye from LMR. When i park the car for the winter i'm gonna shoot a few panels on the interior to see how it comes out. If its really good i'll do everything.

Yes, I used duplicolor. But i only did the airbag and the vinyl collar behind the airbag. Like I said, I was VERY impressed with the end result. However, If I were covering a larger piece or multiple pieces I would most likely get the dye from LMR.
