I was finally able to drop the Mustang yesterday. Not too bad of a job. 2 1/2 hours and only one hang-up. These are a 1 1/2" drop with no upper iso's. If you guys remember these were the springs I won off Ebay for $15 :eek:ccasion14: ! Car sits nice. I haven't taken it for a ride yet. I'm pretty sure I'm going to scrape trying to get it out of my driveway. My driveway has a pretty good slope. I had to add a steel plate at the bottom to get my wifes Windstar up and down it with out scraping. Here's one pic the rest are in the "before and after" thread in the Members rides forum. Sorry its dirty.

Looks good,

They sell rubber bumper inserts that bolt to the ground for steep driveways if you have those drainage gullies. They are easy to install and keep you from scraping.

You should be good, they usually settle a bit after install. Looks good already!!!! Also, its easy to get the springs in front in the wrong spot/upside down. they have to sit in the pocket on the control arm a certian way, the pocket looks exactly like the end of the spring. YOu should be good tho, it appears that the springs are in the right position.

Yeah things settled a little after I drove it tonight. I heard a couple taps when the spring settled fully into the seat. The car is more bouncy. But, that's only because I need to get new shocks and struts. It sits nice. The front being higher is the driveway angle and having the parking brake on. I like it, and it doesn't scrape on the driveway. So were good on both fronts. Thanks guys!

Yeah just imagine the "before" being about 1 1/2" - 2" higher. I have some other pic's in the driveway for true comparison. But I need to find them and download them off my wife's camera.

for some reason, it looks like you put the front springs in the back, and vice-versa. it looks like the rear is lower than the front.

Thats because its on a hill and the parking brake is pulled. Its a pretty good hill. Doesn't seem like it in the pics. But when you're on it. You realize how sloped it is. No worries I know I have them in the right place. The rears have a larger diameter than the fronts. I double checked everything. Clocked them all same as stock. Were good to go! Thanks though.

Win, are you gonna be okay?

Yeah i'm fine just had a Funeral this weekend on my birthday but no worries i'm good now. I'm just one year older :)

I knew about the funeral. Thats why I asked. I know it can be tough to lose someone you love or care about. Congrats on the year older and hopefully wiser.
