"This is a 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra with actual low miles of 56,200!!! This car also is very fast, Cold A/C, Leather Seats, and 5Speed Manual Transmission. It has a few performance parts BBK Cold Air Intake, BBK 65mm Throttle body, STEEDA Tri-Ax short throw shifter, MSD ignition and Coil Packs, BBK Headers, Flowmaster Full Exhaust, Performance Tune, 315 Nitto Drag Radials, and 4.10 gears. I would say it has about 350+RWHP."

Thats what this guy said. I responded wondering if he had something else done cuz with that he wouldnt hit those numbers. He replied telling me " I have dyno sheet to prove my horsepower run the quarter mile at 13.1 60' 1.734....I dont have to false advertised my car cause i kno what it'll do.. If you had a 96-98 cobra with the mods i have and you not making at least 335RWHP. u mite wanna get a better dyno tuner...I'm jus sayin"

Wasnt exactly trying to come across as an ass to the guy...But based on what he has listed, i just dont see him making the power he says to the wheels..

Am i missing something here?

was it an srs version? Those can hit some crazy numbers from what I hear otherwise I don't see it with an intake and partial exhaust.

A 13.1 sounds pretty close to a car making 350rwhp but i dont see with the mods it making that to the ground...

13.1 seems slow for that power with a 1.7 60' doesn't it? Idk I'm no expert but I doubt he's making 350whp.

My friend's intake/exhaust 03 GT with 4.10s ran 13.5 @ 100 with a 1.8 60' and that was nowhere near 300whp. :dontknow:

Might have had a dyno that read stupid high. Not all dynos are created equal... and neither are HP numbers either.

+1 exactly. Whos to say the dyno numbers were not corrected #'s. With 350 at the wheels it should have run better then a 13.1 with a 1.7 60. I was running 12.7's with a 1.7 60' and 340RWHP

why would the add say it has about 350 RWHP then he says he has the dyno sheet to prove it. Why not put down exactly what it makes according to the dyno sheet not "it has about"

I have CAI, full exhaust. No tune and a 100 wet shot made 345hp. Only 280 without NOS. 70rwhp on a tune? I think not.

Ask for the trap speed on the 1/4 run. Unless he's lying that will tell you everything

I dont plan on buying the car, just saw the add and knew something was off..

Almost all 4.6 cobras need an IMRC delete and short runner intake added to that list to be over 300RWHP and even then cams/heads to be 350+ NA..

heres his responce to me "It's not just a handheld tune the whole computer has been wiped"

The guys a tool bag. There is no such thing as wiping the ECU clean. People run an AEM unit b/c it replaces the stock ECU. If there was a way to wipe the ECU clean no one would have reason to run an AEM unit
