Edelbrock RPM II intake question.......

would anybody happen to be using this intake on their 94/95 car with a fox style setup and NO elbow?? i guess this intake can be used like that correct?? if so do you have any pics by chance? thanks

thanks,but i was just wanting to see a pic of this intake ran like that. my car has the fox style mod done with my systemax intake now. i'm about to change and wanted to be sure i can use it without the elbow like my systemax is now.

I had a fox Cobra intake on mine and the elbow off the t/b would hit my shocktower. It was a tight fit.

If running the Fox t/b, you will need to modify the TPS wires and change to a Fox trottle cable. It definitely works. IMO the SN style intakes look cleaner.

mines already converted to the fox style now with a holley systemax intake.i think the fox setup is SOOOO much cleaner looking and thats why i changed it over. I have a tone of room in between my intake and strut tower.

I would have to say I like the SN style myself but I went with a 94 cobra intake as I don't like the elbows look myself. Seems like a lot of time/$$$/work for 1-2 reputed hp.

The "horsepower gain" is negligible at best... Respectable gains in power would be reached if someone with a healthy motor did this swap to use the larger (80mm-90mm) throttle bodies.
