I have edelbrock performer 5.0 intake, pofressional products intake elbow, and bbk headers. The new egr tube that comes with the

new bbk headers doesent fit on my set up is there a way to make it fit , or do you know were i can find an adjustable one. Any ideas

on how to make it fit? Please

if it is just to short, doesn't reach up high enough, you can buy an adapter that will make it tall enough to reach your egr.

if you look on ebay or even a hardware store i am sure you can find one cheaper

When I installed my BBK LT's (I don't know if you do or not) I had to heat the tube and stretch it and re-bend it to fit. It took quite a few tries to get it to fit right. Don't try to bend or stretch it without heating it though you will break it. You could also try using copper pipe.

i wasn't sure what you were exactly talking about. i know when i put a new upper and lower intake on my car i had to buy that adapter to keep using the egr with stock headers. i no longer use the egr so i just pluged it off. i don't know about the bbk long tube problem. hope you got it to work

I have the 95 Cobra intake, and BBK shorties, i had to extend the egr pipe by welding some tube in, the BBK one was way short.

Is it too short or is it "off"??....If its off, then loosen the egr from the intake but not too much, carefully start both ends of the egr tube, if you can't get them to thread then you are gonna have to get someone with a small tube bender so you can tweak it. If it's too short then you'll need to weld a steel pipe in between the fittings but make sure you keep the angle the same. Good Luck

When I put my 1" intake spacer on to clear my new valve covers I just cut the tube in the straightest part of and and then reconnected it with a 5/8" compression union. With the union in it gave me exactly the extra 1" I needed.
It has seemed to hold up fine so far but I'll have to wait and see what happens when I get the car back on the road!
