you will not like the cutouts, exp for that price....sosososos many better things to be had...get headers.i have herd dumps on a buddies 5.0...they were just behind his Xpipe....its sounded great on the full exhaust and like a shitty pissed out old cadilac when the cut outs were turned on, and he said he didnt knowtice much of a change from full exhaust to cutouts..

I'm gonna get bbk shorties next year (can't get longtubes for an auto except MAC's but I can't run a pro-chamer). After xmas I'm ordering spintech super pro streets with the 2.5'' piping already attatched and those are gettin dumped.

Sounds like you've made up your mind but I would research a little to see if those summit cut outs are prone to leaking at all.

Pretty much, but this is why I joined a mustang site so I can get help and tips from others. I'm gonna do some research on them to see if there's any issues with them or not, thanks sleepn.

That sounds horrible IMO. If you just cut the mufflers out you'll still have the cats to kinda muffle it down a little so it won't be as raspy. Whatever you do don't get cutouts man it just doesn't sound good, do what I did with my '88 GT and just get BBK longtubes and O/R Flowmaster

That sounds pretty sick too, I would love to get an o/r midpipe but I can't pass inspection here without cats =(

Get too know an inspector. lol. OR... get an o/r X and have and exhaust shop put 4 fake cats on it. iv seen it done on a fox to pass visual.

Decided against the cut outs for now. Will hopefully be getting a bbk o/r H pipe and spintech super pro street 9000s. Not gonna dump them, I cant stand the smell. My brothers fox has no cats and dumped flow 40s, gives me a headache pretty quick lol. Will the o-r H and spintechs be nice and aggressive but not too obnoxious?
