Electric Seats Not Working

My power seat out of a 99 simply stopped working... I have no idea why, so the first thing I checked was the connection, which was solid. Next I went to the fuse box, and I could not find any diagrams that said which fuse was in charge of the seat, and could not visibly see any broken fuses. Does anyone know which fuse it is, and could there be another problem that I'm overlooking? Nothing else isn't working other than the seats, except the ABS...

do you have a meter or test light? disconnect the plug under the seat and see if you have pwr going to the seat first. if you do then you have a prob with the seat. if not back to fuse. i don't have a diagram for ya right now or a fuse guide either.

I checked the voltage in the wiring to the seat at a grand total of 0 volts. I assume that it's the fuse blew out because of all the functions of the newer seats compared to the 94-98s, but don't know which fuse it is... Quite puzzling.

im not sure about the fuses on the older mustangs, but i assume they would be close to the same.

so i would assume they would throw the fuses into the same place.

i found a fuse diagram for a 2000, power seats are located in spot q under the hood and spot 15 under the dash.

for the diagram i found for a 1994, its in the spot labeled "cig illum" under the hood, could not find a fuse under the dash.

Checked, and replaced the fuse that is supposed to be in charge of the seat, but still no juice. Any other suggestions?

how old are the seats?

maybe the little motor went bad. or maybe some of the wiring inside got jostled around.

electrical can be touchy

try this
seat fuse in battery junction box (25amp)
lumbar fuse 15 in central junction box (20amp)

i cannot find the fuse # for the seat itself only that it's location.
are you testing the fuse or looking at it?
