I'm probably going to start putting together my DSS 306 shortblock into a longblock. I was wondering if the ford-racing engine kit is good enough gaskets for a performance engine? It says the gaskets are made by fel-pro to fit the ford motor company needs.
Or would I be better off going with the cometic gasket kit. Would rather not spend an extra 200$ on a gasket set if it's not needed.
