Just some more pictures of the project, I just got the sub-frame connectors in, they still need to be welded... I'm ready to tackle the roll cage.

engine needs some TLC

welded 1"x1" square tubing to the sub-frame connectors before installing them so I could jack the car up from any point on the side.

The new brakes are a tight fit but 5/8" spacers should give me enough clearance for any deflection I might see at the track

painted it in the paint booth at the machine shop i work at came out pretty nice, gotta love competition orange

Thanks guys, I added some pics, I'll keep you guys posted on my progress for sure, I only have a picture of the underside with 1 sub frame connector, I just put the other one in today so pretend it's there haha

hey judging by your sig pic it looks like your a paint guy! please paint the engine bay! the exterior looks to good to leave the engine bay a different color!!!

I might paint the engine bay, I haven't decided what im doing with that. I'm building it to do circuit racing so to be honest im not to worried about the engine bay looking bad, its functionality first, aesthetics second. haha

what did you use for a base on that comp orange. We realized it did NOT cover well on anything but a white or very very light gray. It looked muddy with black or even a dark sealer.

its not a base coat clear coat, its a single stage paint, not sure of the company that makes it but i'll check for you and let you know, it actually covered very well.

nice we used a ppg on teh truck it looked real good but sometimes paint just gets that murkey look
