i dont see why you'd put that on there to choke a motor. It would be slower. I know someone here who's done it, but it's utterly pointless.

it might be worth it if you could port the intake, and get a bigger throttle body. but good luck finding that, you will probably see better
gains if you went with a gt40,trickflow, somthing like that

I've seen like two larger throttle bodies for the trucks, I know because I was looking at setups for my Bronco before I sold it...

But even then, the car intakes would be 1000x better. Not even talking about the fact that you'd have to figure out a way to use the truck's throttle cable and all that mess, deal with the diffrent positioning of the air filter (right side instead of left) and blah balh blah.

So no. don't

And what at the same lower as a holley. I don't know about that. Like at all.

I do recall some Pro 5.0 drag racer from back in the 90s use a truck style intake manifold (302 stroker with nitrous), under a cowl hood....

thats why holley copied the lower and made a upper to fit into a stang....old school fact that the truck lower is what holley copied

yup, definately...the Holley SysteMax, and the Vortech/Saleen intakes are all based off the truck lower...the truck lower is a good piece....

Even the EFI Renegade guys that run in the NMRA etc use the SysteMax intake, however, the lower is cut and welded (to increase the area of the port as it approaches the cylinder head, cuz in the stock form its almost a bottleneck for the airflow)...

EDIT: Here is a pic of one that I found from the corral....
