so you want to spend $120 on new tips, just for the look. plus the money to make them sit there to do nothing.. wow
im not saying i agree with the idea, but whats the difference between that and buying a chin spoiler? people spend $100-120 on a chin spoiler just for the look, and they spent that money on it to sit there and do nothing.

tailpipes have a purpose other than being used for looks. there main purpose is to feed the exhaust out the rear of the car to minimize interior noise..

Okay... I don't get the whole dumps thing. If you can't get the sound you want out of your tail pipes without eliminating them and then thinking your car's ass end looks lonely is just plain stupid.

Get the correct exhaust or cut your pipes and live with it.

Please keep rice out of the Mustang community... :binkybaby:

Some of you guys...

SLP rolled tips would be the only way I'd ever put tail pipes on my car. With no cutouts in the bumper for the tailpipes, they look stupid and out of place IMO. Keep the dumps!

i agree a 100% its the reason i took mine off in the first place! then the sound of dumps made me stick with it!

maybe its just me, but i hate the rolled tip look. angled cutoffs like the "flowmaster" style tip, is so clean lookin. i wish i had them in a 3" tip. im afraid of going any bigger on the tips than i already have (regular flowmaster), cuz they are already less than an inch away from the tires... i dont want em to rub.

Bassani makes 3" angled cut like flows but it's not quite as angled, and don't fear the clearance, it doesn't widen to 3" til after the tire, every catback I've seen is like that so larger shouldn't bother you. Now that I have 3" i want larger... you get used to them.
