As for price I'm not understanding the numbers people are putting out... like under 10k?!?! That would be such a steal here! Way different market in alberta...
People here are trying to get 5-8k for a clean nearly stock 99-04 coupe... Gt and verts are much more than that...

I won't say what I think its worth. You're market is much different than mine obviously so my opinion is invalid.

Yes a customized car is a harder sale but be patient and try to wait for a buyer that will appreciate the tasteful custom work you have done. Wish I lived closer and had so money laying around...

No doubt people love to see the clean sn95s cause they are way cooler and rarer than the newer ones but with that said I find it hard to believe someone offered you 9k.....doesnt really make much sense to me when someone could easily pick up a clean black ( the most common color) 96-98 GT for half that, hell a third of that even.

Im looking at a clean 5 speed 98 gt right now on craiglist listed for 2700 dollars.

If you can get 10k for your car there must be some really stupid ****s around there that dont have internet access and have no idea what these cars sell for....just being realistic cause in no way shape or form should a bolt on 96-98 GT with 130k miles on it be worth 10k. lol

JB, will hate to see it go, that car was one of my favorites here. Having had a n SN and a New Edge, the 99+ cars don't have the style or personality of the 94-98 but it's hard to argue with loud, nasty blower whine.

Even if there is a fool that buys it, he is giving the illusion that they routinely sell for 10k in nc....check out Craigslist nc cause I'm pretty sure I see them for the same as what they sell for everywhere else which is like 2500-5k

Old 97 was done on a college budget...it took longer for me to mod it and get bored...

98 was done on a real world no budget...took way less time to get bored haha

If your car is nice, and you want big power, either terminator swap it, or put a blown coyote in it and make 600 rwhp with ease. You're going to take a bath in that car big time. If you're going to sell it, I'd return as much of it to stock as possible, especially that export crap. I have no idea why people pay so much for it, but no buyer is going to give you a fraction of what it's cost you.

Im in NC and that wouldn't sell for 10k except in the rare case someone falls in love with it without doing any research online to see what these cars go for. Anyone that frequents online forums that have sn95 specific sale sections can see that these don't sell well. Those people that list them for 10k on craigslist don't count! Hell I know I have a lot invested in mine that I will never get a return on. It is the price of modding a vehicle.

I've also had multiple offers around the $6-7000 range. Hell, we paid $6,000 for the car the first time we bought it (2-3 years ago with 127,000 on the clock). I guess you just have to see the car in person.

I got mine for 6k @ 65k miles back 2005. I'm still holding on to mine because there not on the road anymore, and I only have 99k on it now. I will eventually get 03/04 since its been my favorite new edge since 2002, I will own both at the same time when the funds are there. Till now I am going to build it up the way I want despite my super-slow mods. Also the fact that im only the second owner, and the body is clean! My 2cents on my car.

I appreciate everyones comments but I think everyone in this thread needs to take a step back and read my original intention..."What can I sell my car for", I never said "Will I get my investment back"...

I dont care about my investment...hell I spent 4k on my interior only 4 months ago. I just want to know how much I could unload it for overall so I can get into a better stang, aka 03/04 cobra. Not a better "investment" stang...project cars are not an investment.

I don't know how the market is in your area, but here in the midwest, you could probably ask 9.5-10k and get legitimate offers. Especially with the meticulous work you've done.

My guess is around 8k if you found the right buyer. You might be able to get more if you returned it close to stock then sold all the aftermarket parts

i'd put $8,000 on it or trade for termi with cash on your end. as hard as it may be for you guys to believe you can get good $$ for these cars. if your car is as clean as it looks in person, you should never settle for $6,000. that would just be sad

Theres a HUGE difference between 6k and 10k....6k is high end but I guess reasonable if the car is as clean as you claim. I mean I paid 7k for mine but that was also like 6-7 years ago with around 80k on the clock from a stealership.

Considering black was the most common color of the sn95s I truthfully dont think it would be that hard to find a clean one out there and as long as the clear is there someone with experience in paint correction like myself can bring it back to near show room condition.

More power to you if you can sell it for that price,. I just dont think its the norm at all and the buyers must be stupid....I should start picking this things up for 2500 bucks here, doing full details, and trailer them over the NC to sell for 3x what I paid for them

Its a hard car to price but I think your best bet is to throw it up and see what offers you get.

Who knows, you may get lucky.....my gut tells me its still a 15 year old mustang so people are gonna low ball you and offer 3-4-5k. I wouldnt think you would be able to get more than 5-7k for it but maybe throw it up for 10k and see what offers you get?

^yea, as much as i like slow90's sn i could never drop $10k on it. in all honesty i could never drop $10k on any sn, lol. and i would never buy someone elses custom. gotta make it my own. but in jb's case all the hard expensive shit is done. motor upgrade, like new interior, and he said his paint is mint. all those are $$$$$$! why wouldnt a lazy fuuker spend $8,000 on a mustang that he could slap on some different wheels to make it more his own? there out there haha!
