fender badge replacement ideas

I'm looking for suggestions on what to put on the fender of my black 01 :nono:[ftp][/ftp]
Its not a gt but someone put gt badges on it. I pulled them off and I need something to cover the holes.
I'm not really fond of the stock badges either. I wouldn't mind just the pony without the vertical bars, but not sure if that would completely cover the holes
What do you guys suggest

I should probably mention, I'm no against fabrication, or custom ideas. A full paint job at this point is the only thing out off the question.
I'm half tempted to weld the holes closed and paint some flat black boss style stripes on it

A custom pony might look pretty sweet as long as its JUST as big as the hole and not much bigger.

Get it too much bigger and it'll look out of place and too big and gawdy.

Been looking at emblems. I absolutely love the cobra emblems, but I don't want to be a poser and have cobra decals on a v6
I also REALLY like the 40th anniversary emblems, but its not an 04.
I need to figure something out before I do something silly like put transformers badges or a picture of my dog, or a kiss logo or somethinh

if you want a cheaper alternative I can cut a decal of what ever you want to put on there. HIt me up wiht a pm if you want one, or if anyone else has an ideas.

we could always put in on a piece of painted plexi. I am about to do something similar to the mustang in my grill. With the plexi there is always the posiblity of stickin an led in it as well...

If you wanted to do that I would just flush-mount two leds in the holes left over.
