I was wondering were are some good places to buy new wheels from. Also what is the widest tire and wheel you can go with on the front without having to worry about rubbing. And what is a good performance tire that is not a drag radial.

thanx

discounttiredirect.com

they have great prices...and there are guys that can run 275's up front i feel thats way to big go around a 255 maybe a 265

what size wheels do you have?

and on the performance part i dont understand your question really if you dont want a drag radial then you really are not looking for a performance tire you want a street tire

I bought my wheels from American Muscle. They are a very good place to buy from!

If you do, follow the link from the .:SN95FORUMS SPONSORS:. Then the MORE SPONSORS. Then go from the link on the page. They will give to this site. There is all kinds of links on that page. I've used from a lot of them! See ya!!

Sorry, I buy my tires @ Discount Tire Company. I go to one that is 48 miles away though.

american muscle has good aftermarket wheels. steveoh may disagree with his shipping problem though.

i bought my wheels from them when they were mustang tuning and my wheels are awesome! (still and that was 1.5 years ago)

i would say 275 is the widest on the front but i think 255 is the perfect size for a 9" rim on the front. and BFGoodrich KDW and KDW NT are good performance street tires. Micheline or w/e is a good brand for tires too IMO. :thumb:

widest upfront 275 and still will rubb on really sharp turns, widest outback 355 but a whole lot stuff may need to be done to get those on

all depends on the offset of the wheels tho

Believe your Eyes bro they are 355/35/18

355/35/18's and didn't even have to flip the quad shocks. They rub a little if I turn into my inclined driveway too fast. Other than that, I would recommend rolling the inside edge up just a little bit so that the sharp edge doesn't hit your sidewall should it ever hit.
