swapping the motor in an 84 fiero, the front cradle bolts will NOT come out, I have the nuts off, but the bolts will not slide out, tried heat, c-clamp to push them out, and many other things, anyone know a trick??
BFH= Big F'n Hammer.
Are you talking about the engine cradle
Is weight still on it, motor still in it?
Did you look in the Haynes/ Chilton manual for the removal?
The engine and tranny are still in, however I have a cradle dolly underneath it and it's setting on that, os no weight is really being held by the cradle. I looked in the shop service manual and all it says is remove bolts. Also everything I can find online says the rear two are the hardest but they came out easy. I'm pretty sure the bolt is rusted to the sleeve in the rubber bushing.
