So I've been asked on numerous occasions to send pictures of various stages of my previous car (the 98 4.2 stroker) via pm's. I figured why the hell not post them all in one thread lmao.

Day I brought the v6 home Feb '07

well thank you sir. It's just a matter of taking care of the equipment. I made sure it was kept to the highest standard.

haha, thanks. I wish I could do NASA on the east coast, I'm building up my Roush currently to hit the track next year at Laguna Seca as my opener for NASA TT. Should be dominant there :)

The car made 205rwhp and 278rwtq. It was a fully built cammed, 4.2 Stroker that my dad and I built. The car was a blast.

it was just lowering springs. I had polyurethane isolators out back for awhile (hence why the rear end stuck up so much in some pictures. then i took the isos completely out and it dropped my car 2.5" all the way around.

The 2nd pic is my fave. Not going to lie. I normally don't like the regular bumpers too much but that is just so sickly clean.

That looked great man. I have 2 questions for you.
1. Was the T-5 swap worth it and was it hard to do? I want a 5 speed but im stuck with the auto.
2. I have thought about doing the 4.2 stroker kit from marano racing (i think thats the company who produces them). How was your power output and how much did you buy it for and where?

if it's any consolation, I did the swap myself, and the hardest part was getting the pedal assembly in place with my big ass hands. Everything else was a breeze except I never did get my speedo to work again because I suck at wiring.

As for the stroker kit. Morana is where I got my kit. it cost about $2100 (for the kit alone) plus I had to get my block machined, and installed everything myself. I recommend buying from super six though as the shipping from Canada raped my wallet.

I posted my numbers above, 205/278 with a custom grind cam.
