I cleaned up my 95 a week ago (http://www.sn95forums.com/forum/index.php?topic=20693.0), but there were still lots of swirl marks and overall neglect from the previous owner. Since I don't have the time (or the detailing supplies), I hired who I consider to be the best detailer around. His name is Nick Chapman of Nick's Custom Detailing in Grapevine TX. I was really happy with the results! The door was the worst part and he made it look NEW. I think the before and afters speak for themselves.

Huge difference in the amount of swirls and depth.. Was he using a porter cable or a rotary and I'm assuming he wet sanded the door?

He uses a Meguiar's G100 D/A polisher, and yes he wet sanded parts of the door. He filled in the chips with touch up and sanded it back down. He uses all Meguiar's products and the final layer is NXT 2.0 wax. If anyone is interested in seeing more of his work you can go to www.dfwstangs.net and find the Nick's Custom Detailing forum. Make it show all threads from the past year and browse through his work. There are some amazing before and afters.

I'd rather not say, but you can go to www.nickscustomdetailing.com and see his prices. That will give you a good idea of what it costs. I will say though that it was worth every penny.

very nice. so noone is using a Dewalt high speed anymore? I only use PC's for light polishing and final wax/sealing. He did a great job man, money well spent.

I detail on the side as hobby, and from the pics, that looks strictly professional. Nice and flawless. I can't wait to work on mine this spring when it gets warmer.
