btw on the way home, which was a long ride. over an hour. the temp never went above 180*s. im wondering if it staying too cool could be a bad thing? never had that problem with the old motor. that bish got hot and stayed hot. :dontknow:

Got pictures of the motor and whatnot? Is there a build thread out there?

heres most the pics i had posted in my build thread. if you guys wanna check them out. you can also see what it looked like before i pulled it.

Oh yeah, I remember that build. You should repost it with your final dyno numbers, and track times when you get them.

prolly a T-trim for now. ive never driven anything over 250hp and my goal is around 800. big jump so im going to do it slowly and work my way up to that. i actually told him to take it easy and dont try to get a bunch out of it. id like to drive it and break in the motor before the blower goes on. i think redline is 8000.

the piston looks like its smiling
T-Trim is a nice blower. I sold mine last year.

You won't spin 8000 rpms reliably in a streetcar without a solid roller cam, expensive lifters, and stout valvetrain.

Here's what happens when you try to turn that RPM with the requisite spring pressure to handle it with those rockers:

...and here's what your piston looks like afterwards. Oh, and this destroyed that cylinder so bad that the block had to be sleeved.
