Firewall adjuster question

k so, i just installed my UPR quadrant and adjuster with the stock cable but my question, is it normal that there is like side to side play where the clutch cable enters the adjuster? I put in that aluminum spacer that they give you but the white plastic flange, if that is what it is called, is way smaller than the adjuster opening. Reguardless it works fine still and makes a hell of a difference.

Seems like I had a similar issue with my Fiore Racing adjuster 2 years ago. Just make sure your cable enters the quadrant straight though. If it rubs the sides of the quadrant's groove, it could self-destruct. Sometimes the groove edges on some adjusters are not real smooth.

i had problems with my steeda one. I've never cared for them to begin with though
