First Close call in my mustang

Im not sure if you guys care about this sort of thing, but it freaked me out and i got a pic so im posting it. I was cruising around with a lady friend when i saw a buddy of mine in a parking lot. I pull in one side of the lot and you have to go around about 5 light poles to get to where he was. I go to make a left turn around the last light pole and i decide to goose it a little and slide around it. Obviously i goosed it a little much because the back end came around til im facing right at this pole. I pushed in the clutch and mashed the brakes before i hit it.. If i had been doing this on purpose it would have been damn cool but since i wasnt it was damn scary.I knew i got close but I got out and this it where my car was.

I have no video or anything so yall will just have to believe me.
But i have a new respect for my car and know not to play in dusty light-pole bearing parking lots with baldish tires.
I played it off best i could but the lady friend was in no way impressed and was mostly mad at me.

I think most of us have had a close call of one kind or another with our cars, just chuck it up as a learning experience.

thats why u should buy a few extar bumpers and anouther set of fenders and have them painted to match, so when u smack it u can fix it quick before ur next date

Actually it was pretty awesome, considering another 6 inches and im buying a new bumper. My date probably would have gotten to see me cry if i had made contact with that pole.

I know right. Im 17 and it took me forever to convince my parents to let me buy it. The agreement was and ignorant wrecks or speeding tickets and it goes up for sale the next day. I think this would have counted and an ignorant wreck. Just when i started to get alot of confidence in this car this happens and i get brought back down to earth. overall probably a good thing.

yeah. after my first time in a situation like this, i matured pretty damn quickly afterwords
