Flush out those rear wheels

How did you make your rear wheels flush with your fenders? I want an 8.8.. And swap the whole rear end, unit to flush those back wheels out... Should I do this or just swap the stock gear and get deep dish rims?

Unless you swap in different axles, a rear end won't make the wheels flush with the fender.
Get deepdish/wider wheels, spacers or wheels with a different offset.

8.8 swap on a v6 is good upgrade though.

I don't know that any one wheel will make it flush. A 10.5 in wheel will most likely make it peek out a bit.

10.5 rims (Standard Backspacing) and 315 wide tires are perfect on mine.

I think my 10.5" rims are pretty close, deep dish & 315's...anyway not enough for me to mess with...

You could put a new edge 8.8 in there. You wont be able to run the 10.5 rims, but a good 9" with a 275 tire should be pretty flush with the wider rear end.

I have 9" wheels on the back with a 3/4" spacer and 295s.

I think it's somewhere along the lines of "flush".

I've noticed, maybe it's just me, but it seems that the aftermarket "mustang" wheels with a lip seem to stick out a little more than a 10.5" without a lip.
