Another thing I just never got around to. I have my armrest tray out so I'll make sure to do this before I put it back together.

Whoever owned the car before me took the fogs off the headlight control already. Eventually I'll probably make the fogs controllable separate from the side markers. I'd like it if there was a way to turn the side markers on without the brake lights.

i have to be the dumbest person in the world

i was doing this yesterday, and when i finished i looked at it and im like SHT i just cut into the wrong connector. so i had to fix that up and then i spliced the wrong wire the second time! i was like WTF is wrong with me. so then i actually do it the right way and then, it doesnt work, no fogs. i was so confused i didnt know what to do. i fixed every wire and made it back to normal.

this morning i go outside and try again, and, so i thought, it still didnt work! i was going crazy and i got pretty frustrated.
then i was like forget it idc. and put everything back and called it a wrap.

came to work today, as i pulled into a spot i saw the reflection in the cars bumper parked infront of me, THE FOGS WERE ON! i turned the parking lights on to make sure it worked and it does.

come to realize the WHOLE TIME, when i was trying to see if it worked(on the second try at least), i didnt have the keys in the ignition so of coarse the fogs wouldnt turn on. DOH!

Wow. This was one of the first mods I did when I first got the car. I use the fogs as DRL's and never had problem because all the newer vehicles have them. The Acura MDX, the Chevy Avalanche uses there DRL's from there fogs. My setup looks pretty mean as well because the headlights/corner lamps are smoked, while the fogs are diamond clears.

Yup I did it to mine quite some time ago when I found the write up. It's good stuff. But now my fogs are gone, I need a new set :crybaby2:

Ive wanted to do this since I had my 95 GT 3 years ago. Guess I need to get some fog lights for the cobra and take out those brake cooling ducts first.

i managed to screw this up somehow... again. why is it the simplist things are always hardest for me lol.

when the fog switch is off, and so is the headlight switch, the headlights are STILL ON. its like i made them into Daytime running lights somehow.

i used the purple/orange wire from the vert connector, and spliced it in with the red/black wire on the fog switch. so there are two live wires going into the switch(dont ask why), is this why my headlights stay on? otherwise idk what the heck i did
