i managed to screw this up somehow... again. why is it the simplist things are always hardest for me lol.

when the fog switch is off, and so is the headlight switch, the headlights are STILL ON. its like i made them into Daytime running lights somehow.

i used the purple/orange wire from the vert connector, and spliced it in with the red/black wire on the fog switch. so there are two live wires going into the switch(dont ask why), is this why my headlights stay on? otherwise idk what the heck i did

Thats how mine was at first, i forget which wires i matched but it made my headlight daytime running lights by the switch, then i re wired it and got it right to where my foglights are daytime running lights by the switch. i just cant remember which wires i mismatched lol

Its actually very simple. I did it to mine in about 10 minutes. Go to American Muslce.com and look
under tips and tricks and it has directions.

If I understand this right, your fogs will always be on when the car is running. Is there any way to turn the car on yet have all the lights off. Then be able to turn on your fog lights whenever, not just with your headlights?

ah no, with this mod the lights will be able to be turned on while the parking lights are on. Normally they are only selcted after the headlights are on.

if it through the switch you can turn the fogs on at anytime. even with out the marker lights. by them selves

i usually have just my fogs on during the day. looks pretty cool. it would be really pointless for the parking lights to be on bc you cannot see them in the sunlight since they are black. looks great around sundown though

so is it just a fuse to run the fogs as DRL's? Or is there other wiring involved that is in those write-ups that have already been posted?

if you wanted them as DRL all you would need to do is tap that wire on the switch with a 12v switched wire and diode.
