For the people who asked. 5.0 Verus My OLD 4.6L

Which one is faster? The 5.0 (might the gears??? )

Which one sounds better? The 4.6L

Which one i like the most so far? The 5.0 at the moment. Nice pickup and shits and gets for its year unlike my 97GT.

Why? Overall its a nice motor, but mine needs some TLC i believe. I can actually start off and gain some speed without running out of breathe like the nonpi.

Emission Testing: None in illinois for 1995 and older cars. So i got lucky. I get to run o/r x and whatever without being tested ever!

My revs sounds clearer up high (maybe its the headers) and the engine revs much easier.

This is not a thread meant for fighting. Someone asked me which one i like more in my new car introduction thread.

I feel the same way as you twista my old 5.0 was the same way except to me my 4.6 revs up faster and more freely.

can't believe you think the 4.6 sounds better even after you describe how good it sounds later but to each his own. If that is the only thing the 5.0 is lacking, that can always be changed.

using the kb is cheating and should not be allowed.

A KB would make a Pinto sound good.

Nobody said the 5.0 dont sound good... but to me, the 4.6 is much sexier, whereas the 5.0 is really raw.

Wow, just got on the expressway with this baby and boy does she move out for a stock 94GT. Its enough to pin you back. In the 4.6 i could step on the gas and just make noise on the highway. This car i can step on the car and its actually pulls.

Ill take this 5.0 GT engine any day over my old 4.6 nonpi.

Im sure a 4.6L 96-98 cobra would feel better than both my cars.
