So I flipped my quadshocks but have a little problem. My quadshock is now touching my shock. Whenever I hit a bump they rub and make a little noise. Is this normal and is there any way to fix it besides getting lower control arms and ditching them altogether?

get rid of em?

You don't need them as they are to prevent wheel hop and axle wrap. Lower control arms fix this problem.

Come on guys I know lots of you have 315s. :(

I encountered the same dilemma when I went to flip mine. The right side quad was tight against the shock and the left side was very close. I took the quads off and have had no problems. Mind you, I don't do any high rpm launching either.

I can tell you my experiences...I just put a pair of 315's on this week...

Trying to put 315 MT DR's on my '94 caused all kinds of clearance issues. I have Steeda (adjustable) lower control arms and I can't remember who made the uppers I put on the car, but my 315's hit the quads (flipping them didn't help), so I had to remove them altogether. Then, the brake cable bracket (that's bolted to the lowers to keep the e-brake cable and the anti-lock sensor wire away from the wheel) is hitting the wheel, so I have to fix that tonight. I had no problems with the exhaust pipes on the driver's side (plenty of clearance), but the passenger side the pipe hits the tire. I've had numerous pipe 'upgrades', so it goes to reason that it's hitting now...I'm going to run the car over to a custom exhaust shop and have them fix up the exhaust on that side.

Before I bought my new setup, I consulted guys on the board and e-mailed American Racing (I was buying their wheels). The guy at AR told me I would have to deal with quad shock rubbing, tailpipe rubbing, wheel well rubbing, and the e-brake bracket in the way. He sure was out on his advice. I had no issues with the wheel wells or pipes. One quad was a problem and the e-brake bracket was an easy fix. Every car is different. They just are not assembled exactly the same.

What did you do to your e-brake bracket? The only thing I can think of is to cut it and re-weld it so it doesn't stick out as much...either that or give it a really good bend (but not sure if that would work - haven't had a chance to sit down and look at all the options).

The end of the bracket is actually a real stiff rubber. I just grabbed it with a pair of pliers and bent it down.

Hmmm...mine is a piece of metal with a loop. I'll have to post a picture of it so you see what I mean...I wish it was just a rubber piece that could be bent.
