only a mustang owner would have a bagged minitruck and obsess over horse power, lol. fuggin rednecks! one thing i can promise is if you do swap the motor, any real hp and you will have the god awfullest wheel hop known to man, lolol! 4-link 5-link hell 6-link that biitch and still...wheel hop your ass off! bags cause that with trucks.

i swapped a 4.3 for a 330 hp 350 in my bagged s10 and DAAYUUUM! nothing got rid of the massive wheel hop.

Yea I'm makin a wish bone for the setup as well. I've found the complete setups motor and trans ecu etc with like 30-40k on em for around 1500. Plus 210 shipping. So the swap could happen . Yesterday I actually let the tank fill right up it gets the tires off the ground when you hit the switch.

I was like wtf when I said sr20 det and you guys were like what's that

lol, i dont really know much about nissan motors. would be sick though. the biggest reason bagged trucks suffer from wheel hop is the actual bag itself provides very little stability for the rear end. so right at the torque point you have no spring. just a rubber bag, lol. can be kept under control slightly..with maybe a 4-link or 5. wishbone will also help. but ya still will get wheel hop with any good amount of torque.

just drop the rear down to where you want it and get to welding.....no wheel hop if there's nowhere for the axle to move

It lays frame so I can't really mess with it too much . I'm planning on 5 lug converting it and throwing my foose speedsters on it
