Tried to put my longer moroso rear wheel studs in today, used to be a piece o cake with the Ford Probe... Well not with the mustang, the ABS cog is in the way.. I can yank the old ones out (ruining the thread) but I can not put the moroso ones back in, too long. :angry7: So I just put the 1/4" spacers in the back (were meant for the front, had 1/2" for the rear") and called it a day..

But whats the trick? do the entire axles need to come out?! :dontknow:

Not necessarily the only way, just the most simple way. Pulling the axles isn't that hard, and then you can do some
regular maintenance on the rear while you're there (diff fluid change)

with abs you need to r&r the axles as paul said, its the correct way and you have to presso off the reluctor ring. but ME with no abs just beat the studs out and suck em in
