I wetsanded and buffed the entire car and it came out great. Here's a couple new pics. Oh and BTW I should be picking up DD bullits tomorrow.

what process and grit sandpaper/pads did you use? ive wetsanded and buffed a ton of tail light lenses in the past, but ive always been cautious about doing it to the car's paint... especially with black paint, one screw-up and everyone will notice it.

The car was painted earlier this year. The key to wetsanding is making sure you have enough clear. I hit the car with 1500 grit 3m paper with a wet foam sanding block. If you are trying to smooth your finish and don't have many imperfections, 2000 grit will do the trick. The sand scratches are harder to remove the lower grit you go. After wetsanding I buffed the car with a Heavy cut foam pad with Auto Magic #99 Magic Cut. Switched pads to a 3m waffle polishing pad then went with a coat of 3M Imperial Hand glaze (great for minimizing compound swirls on dark colored cars). Finished everything off with a soft finishing pad with Auto Magic #90A XP Swirl Remover/leveling wax. Did all of this using a Dewalt DW849 High Speed Buffer. Similar results can be had using a Porter Cable style DA but of course the process will take more time. The paint is now pretty much free of imperfections and swirls. Thanks for the comments folks!

Car looks great even with it being lowered on those Cobra wheels.... I think if you got a wheel spacer in the rear and tint tha windows you will be good 2 go.

True. Tint is in the works. But this dude is trying to trade straight up for my cobra wheels. 18x10 DD black bullits with almost bad tires. 17x9's up front with bad tires. Can't pass up that deal. If the staggered 17/18 doesn't look the business on my car i'll only have to spend money on 2 wheels to get it right. But yeah if for some reason it doesn't go through i'll def. look into spacers for these wheels.
