Front passenger brake releasing when slowing down (abs?)

I've been getting our '96 cobra back on its feet after a number of years being stored in a garage. Most recently I've changed all the shocks/struts and installed lowering springs. Now that everything is back together I'm noticing when slowing down the front passenger side feels like the brake is releasing when slowing down and there is a grinding noise. If I jam on the brakes the car stops fine and there are no issues, its just when slowing down. Honestly it feels like the abs is kicking in and releasing the brake pressure on that caliper.

Would this be the abs sensor on the passenger side (I don't have an abs light on) giving me an issue? Is there a way to trouble shoot the abs wire or do I just have to replace it? Could I have done something to the sensor when replacing all those suspension pieces that would have broken it or disengaged it?

Thanks!

Ok, I'm going to self-update this thread in case anyone comes across it with the same issue. What ended up happening was that I dented the ABS ring on the drivers side. Because the system is magnetic the ABS ring was dropping signal from the ABS sensor, this was causing the passenger side ABS to lock up and get applied intermittently. That ABS ring is pretty thin metal, so I just bent it back into shape and now everything is working fine.

No problem! I hope the info helps someone down the line. When I was replacing the strut I must have rested it on the jack. Everyone I did troubleshoot with told me it had to be the pads or rotors but I knew it felt like the ABS. I'm happy it was as easy as bending the ring straight to fix it.
