I bought an autometer fuel pressure gauge. I have to buy 3ft OR 4ft of braided hose. I don't have the car at home he is at the garage. The gauge would be mounted where's the radio (Paul's pillar pod) and I was wondering if 3ft of hose would be fine. What do you guys think?

It really depends on where you're going to get your fuel supply from. If you're going to tap the schraeder valve on the fuel rail, then you'll need a 1/16" NPT to -3AN (or -4AN) adapter. Then I'd probably get a pre-made 6 foot braided stainless nylon line, and run it into the cabin to your gauge. You'll likely need some other adapter fittings at the gauge as well. Be aware, running fuel into the passenger compartment is not NHRA legal if you plan to run it at the dragstrip. The way around this is to buy an electric fuel pressure gauge, which is obviously much more expensive.

I won't run the car at the dragstrip. But where are the other place that I can connect the hose?

If you're running stock fuel rails, then the schraeder valve is really your only option without doing something much more elaborate.

It's not that big of a deal. Lots of road racecars run the fuel lines through the car.

Until it leaks and sprays everywhere?

Running a pressurized fuel line into the driver/passenger area is not a smart move. However, I'm a believer of Darwinism so go ahead but make sure all your passengers are informed.

None of my buddies cars are that way.... I just don't see it being too safe. And will mount on my cowl if needed.

While I agree fundamentally that there are better alternatives, I also don't think there is as much fire and brimstone associated with it as most folks think.

Yes, that's the fitting you need. They may have it in 1/16" NPT to -3AN as well. Not sure about that. Either way, it will work.

Finding it local is unlikely in my experience. My searches over the years have proven that particular part to be pretty difficult to find. Now I keep a couple spare ones in my garage just in case. :tongue3:
