So I searched today and didn't find this one. I had previous posts with the gas smell/crap tubing/bad solenoid, etc. Anyway, I filled up yesterday after driving on 10buck fill-ups for the longest time since I fixed my odometer gear to check the mileage... No more gas smell like before, go figure.

I still plan on replacing the solenoid since you can blow straight through whether or not it's energized, I'm sure its causing a vacuum leak. I may just block off the PCV line and modify my charcoal canister since I imagine it's jackked up and causing the problem. I just haven't had the time, I'm not super concerned about it today, I got to finish another project before I can mess with this more.

Anyway, any ideas on the gas smell going away??!?!?!

not really. Had the smell when left work at the stop sign, filled up, no more smell. maybe it was PFM and it's all fixed now, but I doubt it LOL!

Oh haha.

I haven't seen your other thread, but I think it would be a good idea to replace everything anyways. Its a common problem and will likely come back :p
