I`m booked in on the 3rd of May to get my FRPP gears fitted. Thing is, the guys doing the job are about 300 miles away. Whats my best option when they`re in? Trailer the car home or nurse it home taking many breaks maybe even an over night stay or that?
I don`t want to fuck things up as I know there must be some kind of running in period.

Any info appreciated people :)

Yeah i believe you should drive at least 100 miles without dogging your car for the break in. Havent got new gears yet so if someone else knows what kind of break in is required post your input please

There really is no break in for gears. Its best to heat cycle them though. Drive it for awhile so the rear end heats up, let it sit for awhile and cool down and it should be fine. Gears dont break in like a new engine does.
