I like the GT500s, Saleens and Hypercoated FR500s. Saleens never disappoint though, why do you think so many of us run them? Not to mention they are cake to clean. Saleens in chrome, yes, but not FR500s.

Have not seen GT500 wheels on our cars in person yet.

I like the GT500 ones, they remind me of the ones I have on now, can anyone(hint atlantic please :) ) shop those black machined GT500 ones on good, it's either those or the Saleens, tough decisions lol.

uhmmm tough one, The black parts match the car, but as onyx and many others have said, Saleens are always sexy on yellow stangs. We need a vote here lol

I would do either, black chrome fr500 hyper coated fr500s or the stealth black ones like justinschmidt has.

Uhmmm, We are going to the wheel shop tomorrow with that rim that the insurance company says "cant" be fixed, we'll see, I might not need new rims after all. I'd get all 4 of my old ones re-finished, I love my old rims and would hate see them vanish, we'll see though, I like my options though...

Imo when you get the whole car repainted I'd do away with the black hood, then it won't look weird if your wheels don't have black in them and overall it'll be a cleaner look.

I love that black strip, kinda breaks up all the "yellow" the car has, if that makes sense lol. I'll see tomorrow, If they can fix my old rims, I'll get that done but if not I might just get the chrome saleens and get the whole car painted yellow.

I've had a few different sets of rims and finally decided that you can't go wrong with chrome or polished.

I bolted up my 10th anni's and just thought they looked "off", they just didn't go with the yellow.

Ya, After I shopped them onto the car they were out, the look good on a termy, but not on a yellow SN95. Tomorrow I will see if they can fix these rims of my, if not, Chrome Saleens are looking to be my choice :)

I think you're right, they looked great on my old black 98, but just didn't look as good on the bright yellow.

you can't go wrong with the chrome saleens... oh and I might have missed it, but will the car be lowered?

Yep, Forgot to add that the front will be about 1.5" lower and the rear won't be too much lower, maybe .5-.75" if that, getting drag springs for the rear so I'm going for performance not visual on that side lol.

don't drag springs usually go on the front to help transfer the weight? I can't see drag springs doing much in the rear if you have stiff lowering springs in the front.

That's a good question, if you were really interested in a drag setup, I would think you would want all of them to be drag springs and match them up with a set of squishy shocks/struts as well...

Meh, imo go for the look and sacrafice a couple tenths... or whatever drag springs might net ya.

I'm doing coilovers in the front with a tubular K-member and Tubular A arms ;)
