Well got the JLT intake on Tuesday from VertTireSmoke. he did an awesome job on shipping it out the day i bought it from him.
Thats half the good.

For the bad:

There was a little "uh oh" in the shipping process if you guys can't tell lol.

But for the other half of the good, im getting it fixed to "Brand new condition" for 25 bucks as well as repainted.

I was kinda scared that Vert was screwing me over or something at first but he fixed the situation right after he got my PM. Vert is a great guy to deal with and I definitely would buy from him again. I sent him the pm, he contacted his dad (who shipped it), contacted the Post office because he shipped it the right way (insured) and got back to me within a few hours of my PM telling me how to fix it.. I told him i was going to get it fixed though instead of him sending me back my 115 dollars. so O0 to Verttiresmoke!

I will have pictures when the JLT is fixed and also when I get it on!

(i know there is a section for this but i figured i was going to post before and after pictures and install so i put it here)

hmm, hopefully it goes back together nicely for ya.

For the price of those things new they should be made out of carbon fiber :)

yeah i didn't really think thats what was going down because thats how i feel about this place and i would do anything for the guys on here. everyones my buddy so.. i didn't really think you were trying to screw me. i just was like.. how does something like that break in the mail. but i haven't seen it in person yet so. why can't they be careful with stuff in the mail. like jeez it might slow them down for maybe .8 seconds unloading it carefully rather than throwing it to the ground.....

I got my JLT for $100... it was used ;D actually, it's the maroon one that they have in the JLT add for the 94-98 stangs. i bought it from a guy named John, who's old Mustang was the test dummy for them. It's my claim to fame. :dancing6:

Well, I agree somewhat, and get pissed when my stuff gets ruined, too, but I'll explain a little. I used to unload the freight from the trucks at Fedex (for 5 years). It's not really the employee's fault, it's the shipping company's fault. We were required to get 19 packages per minute onto the conveyor belt, each. In order to do so, you pretty much had no choice but to throw them onto the belt...
It sucks, but if you didn't, you got in trouble...

if that's pvc, you may be able to get away w/ just using pvc glue from Home Depot or something..

gee, didn't realize JLT were pvc--that's true, wtf are they so expensive?? i just made my own cai w/ 3" pvc from Lowe's along w/ a few of their couplers--cost me $30, including the paint.

good luck w/ the situation, man.
