Thank you LilRoush and RichV. Just like he noted, if you slide after laying into the brakes, you need moar betta rubberz.

Bought the calipers through Carquest ($80), lines through carquest ($30), pads through summit ($100), and rotors through advance auto I think ($60).

The calipers are much more now...there iron not aluminum. There also charging a core and checking now for the core when you bring it back BC there costing the company a good amount of money.

You can get some good deals through RockAuto as well, but you also need caliper brackets to do the 13" stuff.

You can get all the stuff from rock auto I looked into that before I bought mine... total for it all 300 or within a couple dollars of that for every thing plus shipping so like 10-20 bucks depending on where there going.... I also inquired and the cust serv agent actually said you will be charged a core and if you don't return a core and it is the applicable part you won't get credit.

If I upgrade to the 99 calipers, do I do front and rear? And do they bolt straight up the the stock brackets?

If you just upgrade to 99-04 dual piston fronts, that is all you need to upgrade. the rears on these cars are the same and the 99-04

Youwillneed to grind the spindle down to make the bracket fit unless I think it's a 97+ spindle if I remember correctly. I know 94-95 you have to do that no matter what.

sorry I meant to say it was the fronts... Only difference in 94-04 rear calipers were the bullitt and anniversary caliper was red.

Do I have to grind a lot away?

not much at all ill find the picture I used and many others have used also.

Well it wasn't all he had to do so therefore you were incorrectly informing him. Sorry

It would also be wise for him to buy new lines banjo bolts and so forth with every brake upgrade he does.

ok, i thought he was just asking about the rears. As in, if there was any added benefit to putting the rear 99-04 calipers onto the 94-98 body style. otherwise we both are write.
