Thank you LilRoush and RichV. Just like he noted, if you slide after laying into the brakes, you need moar betta rubberz.
Bought the calipers through Carquest ($80), lines through carquest ($30), pads through summit ($100), and rotors through advance auto I think ($60).
You can get some good deals through RockAuto as well, but you also need caliper brackets to do the 13" stuff.
If I upgrade to the 99 calipers, do I do front and rear? And do they bolt straight up the the stock brackets?

If you just upgrade to 99-04 dual piston fronts, that is all you need to upgrade. the rears on these cars are the same and the 99-04
Incorrect
Do I have to grind a lot away?Youwillneed to grind the spindle down to make the bracket fit unless I think it's a 97+ spindle if I remember correctly. I know 94-95 you have to do that no matter what.
how so?
Yea Win, I understand the rear Varga caliper is the same for all years, V6/GT/Cobra.
Do I have to grind a lot away?
the fronts you have to grind the spindle for it all to fit properly.....
sorry I meant to say it was the fronts... Only difference in 94-04 rear calipers were the bullitt and anniversary caliper was red.
not much at all ill find the picture I used and many others have used also.
Well it wasn't all he had to do so therefore you were incorrectly informing him. Sorry
It would also be wise for him to buy new lines banjo bolts and so forth with every brake upgrade he does.
I picked up Good ridge lines for my Cobra Calipers. I like them and Russell lines... there not that expensive really... range anywhere from 60-90 normally for front sets....
