Ok, problem 1: When I drive around for a while and get my car to normal or above operating temperature and then shut it off, when I start it back up it dies unless i give it gas and when i first start driving like that it stumbles and hesitates A LOT. Anyone know what could be wrong? I have been trying to fix it but i haven't figuered it out yet.

Problem 2: If I and gunnin it, when i shift into second, it kinda hesitates a little bit before it actually goes, does the same thing if im in 3rd or 4th and punch it. Any help out there with this? Thanks all.

i would have to say that it sounds like something to do with your fuel delivery system, could be your injectors, fuel filter, clogged fuel pump, but it could also be a vaccum line leak, could be bad spark plugs or wires, bad distrubiter cap, clogged air filter, dirt on you MAS. with problems like that you really want to start out the cheapest part to fix. if you can hook up a computer to it and see if any codes pop up.

-Check for codes
-Change the fuel filter
-Check your fuel pressure
-Check for good spark and inspect the plugs
-Get the coil and dizzy checked out if problems persist
-You may have a clogged injector too. You can pull them all and send them off to get cleaned/flowed if one of them turns out bad.

You check fuel pressure with a fuel pressure checking gauge (can be had at the parts store) via the schraeder valve on your fuel rails.

A "dizzy" is a distributor.

Go buy a chilton's or haynes manual and just start learning. It helps to have a friend that may be a bit more experienced as well.

Ok, I just got back from Autozone, and I got a problem lol... I told the guy to hook up a computer but... My car is a 97, but the engine was swapped as you all may know with a 5.0. So the car is equipped with an OB2 outlet. But the guy said it won't work because Its an OB1 engine. He said I'm pretty much swrewed unless I know someone who knows what to do... So here i am asking my fellow SN95 forumers.. lol WHAT DO I DO!!! lol :dunno:

No he has both on a 5.0 harness one in the car is obd2 while the one under the hood is obd1. But first check your coil and wires, and plugs.
